After an early start, our Smart Friends touched down at Nice Airport. The trip kicked off in true style, as guests were greeted with personalised luggage tags and whisked away by helicopter to Monaco. The panoramic views over the sparkling Mediterranean Sea were nothing short of breathtaking—a perfect prelude to an unforgettable weekend.

Upon arrival, our Smart Friends were escorted to the iconic Hotel de Paris for the remainder of their stay. Nestled in the heart of Monaco, the hotel provided a stunning backdrop as they enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool, a lavish brunch, and sweeping views of Port Hercule.

Following brunch, our group made their way to the Port, where they didn’t just admire the yachts—they boarded one of their very own. An afternoon spent savouring Whispering Angel rosé, indulging in exquisite charcuterie, and cruising the beautiful blue waters started our trip perfectly.

On Friday evening, guests were welcomed with a stunning reception featuring Champagne and canapés, setting the tone for an exquisite evening. This was followed by an indulgent three-course dinner at Le Grill, where the highlight was the renowned Hotel de Paris Raspberry Soufflé. The night didn’t end there, as our guests tried their luck with some late-night excitement at the legendary Monte Carlo Casino!

Fortunately, our Smart Friends didn’t lose too much at the Monte Carlo Casino, leaving them bright-eyed and ready for the exciting day ahead. After enjoying a delightful breakfast on the terrace of the iconic Hotel de Paris, our guests gathered in the square, greeted by an impressive lineup of vintage cars. With classics like the Porsche 356 Speedster and the Rolls Royce Corniche, everyone was in for an unforgettable ride!

Our Smart Friends embarked on a breathtaking journey along the legendary Moyenne Corniche, journeying from Monte Carlo, through Nice and into the hills overlooking the charming Saint Paul de Vence. Each guest was gifted a silk scarf to wear as they pleased—some fashioned them as cravats, while others donned them as chic headscarves. Along the route, there were a few scenic stops where guests indulged in a friendly game of pétanque or sipped on refreshing glasses of Pastis, all while soaking in stunning views of the Côte d’Azur.

The sight of the elegant vintage car convoy didn’t go unnoticed, attracting plenty of admiring glances from locals—it was as if our Smart Friends had turned into celebrities for the day! The drive concluded in the hills at the renowned Alain Lorca, where a warm reception awaited in the beautiful garden. Guests were treated to a seated lunch featuring exquisite Maison Mitteault foie gras, Mediterranean Ombrine, and an abundance of rosé.

After a leisurely lunch, everyone returned to the hotel to prepare for the evening’s festivities—a Palm Royale-style pool party at a magnificent villa nestled in the hills of Cannes. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with the signature Pea Snap martini and Laurent Perrier Rosé, paired with delectable canapés prepared by the talented team at Last Supper. As they mingled and admired the stunning pink sunset, the evening unfolded with elegance.

The real fun began with a lively performance from High on Heels, setting the tone for an unforgettable night. The festivities carried on until the early hours, with many guests eventually taking a plunge into the pool, still dressed in their finest attire. The evening drew to a perfect close with champagne-fuelled sing-alongs around the grand piano, leaving everyone with memories of a party that would be cherished forever.

After an exhilarating weekend, we knew our Smart Friends would appreciate some time to rest and recharge. So on our final day in Monaco, we embraced a more relaxed pace. Some sipped Aperol Spritzs’ by the pool, others ventured out to explore the local charm, and a few even made their way to the iconic Monte Carlo Beach Club. It was the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable weekend.
